Proofs that Belief in God forces the Consistent to Repudiate Goodness

 
To respect a God who does not need it is to respect him for its own sake. It is not to respect him for your own sake. To respect God because you respect him is to say that you respect him not caring if he is good or not. You insult his goodness to you by not taking it seriously. Respecting God for the sake of respect is respecting a principle - respect - not God.
 
To unconditionally love God most is to take the attitude towards others that you do not love them the same for they are not God. Thus your love for them is conditional. It is manipulative love.
 
You do not want to believe in a God who has no time for "love your neighbour as yourself. " That law is part of his attraction. But as he says love is sacrifice, he orders you to love your neighbour more than yourself. How attractive is it now? Why stop there? Why not love your neighbour more than your wife or husband or child?
