Prohibition does not work and not even God’s prohibition and especially God’s prohibition.

Prohibition does not work – not even God’s prohibition and especially God’s prohibition. If you won’t let human kind tell you what to do, you will rebel even more when they say, “God’s message is to keep these rules.” That is because their being the spokespersons is a problem.

When you judge an action to be immoral or wrong you are calling it prohibitive. You are hoping that your disapproval and the wrongness of the action will prevent or deter people from committing the act on pain of disapproval and or some other punishment. You cannot for example say gay sex is wrong without saying it should be prohibited and punished and never promoted. People but total value on, “I felt I did it for the right reasons”. So their goodness and morality are about feelings and it's luck if they are not doing something terrible.
