"Lord I am not worthy" as a LOATHSOME core subject of what prayer is about

Jesus told us to pray, "Our Father, your will be done." He prayed, "Father let your will be done not mine".

One reason it is all about God is that God alone is considered truly lovable.  “The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; the Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and will all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these” (Mark 12:29-31, King James Bible).  The neighbour is only loved in connection with God, that is, "God made you so to respect God I respect you."

It is said that prayer does not change God but is about admitting that you are not worthy of what you ask and saying you will try to be. It is about aligning to the will of God.  So if you think of ways having money will make you holy that means you will try to be holy as if you had the money. So if you don’t get the money you will be holier. The question is then what do you ask for money or health or anything for? It is pointless. Prayer implies a judgment on yourself and others. If prayer is just about matching up to God’s goodness and trying to be worthy of what you desire rather than getting what you desire then it is more judgmental than ever.  It is saying nobody should ask God for good health as if you don't deserve it or you do not matter.  Prayer implies you are trying to manipulate yourself and therefore others. If you are asking for money and saying it is only so that you can use to to be holy you are lying to yourself. You just want the money and think God is stupid enough to give it to you. It's magic and superstition.  You cannot win.

Say prayer does get results.  Prayer will be seen as the ultimate way to resolve all issues and if you have faults you are responsible for it is your fault for not praying.  You will not be compassionate with others for long if you think they are just victims of life. You will think that life is very imperfect anyway so they should toughen up. Yet at the same time you blame them for not praying right or enough. If I pray for you that cannot be as good as you praying for yourself for you know best and if you need a relationship with God.  So while I pray for you and nothing happens, I blame you.  And what happens is I feel I have done something and am better than you who has done nothing.
