The one prophecy that could fit Jesus!

Christians have terrible trouble trying to find evidence that Jesus was predicted by God through Old Testament prophets. They go as far as to pretend that non-predictions in the psalms are really predictions. Jesus himself according to the gospels said that he was predicted in the psalms and the prophets. Truthful wasn't he?
 
There is a prediction allegedly about the Devil that fits Jesus quite easily. It is the only thing in the Bible that does! The best prophecy is the one that names the alleged subject. Jesus, according to the New Testament, took the name of Morning Star, Lucifer. This is traditionally the name of the pagan god of light and the name of Satan. Satan was allegedly the angel Lucifer before he was expelled from Heaven. Morning star also means Venus. The Old Testament seems to predict the rise and fall of Lucifer in a way that suits Jesus Christ best.

Isaiah 14 - New International Version (NIV)
 
1 The Lord will have compassion on Jacob;
    once again he will choose Israel
    and will settle them in their own land.
Foreigners will join them
    and unite with the descendants of Jacob.

MY COMMENT: The Jews were settled in their land at the time of Jesus had had a lot of foreigner membership and support.

2 Nations will take them
    and bring them to their own place.
And Israel will take possession of the nations
    and make them male and female servants in the Lord’s land.
They will make captives of their captors
    and rule over their oppressors.
3 On the day the Lord gives you relief from your suffering and turmoil and from the harsh labor forced on you, 4 you will take up this taunt against the king of Babylon:

MY COMMENT: The King of Babylon then will be taunted some time in the future. Israel will have enslaved the world when that happens. There is no doubt that the text says God makes it happen because he loves Israel so God approves of the enslaving. The fact that Israel does not enslave the world and never did when there was a king in Babylon makes some reckon it is not the real Babylon that is being referred to.

How the oppressor has come to an end!
    How his fury has ended!
5 The Lord has broken the rod of the wicked,
    the scepter of the rulers,
6 which in anger struck down peoples
    with unceasing blows,
and in fury subdued nations
    with relentless aggression.

MY COMMENT: The time period of which Jesus spoke of worldwide wars and upheavals. He spoke as if the world was about to finish any moment.

7 All the lands are at rest and at peace;
    they break into singing.

MY COMMENT: No such peace ever existed during the time Babylon was active.

8 Even the junipers and the cedars of Lebanon
    gloat over you and say,
“Now that you have been laid low,
    no one comes to cut us down.”

MY COMMENT: Could be a gloat about the tree of the cross. The context is death remember.

9 The realm of the dead below is all astir
    to meet you at your coming;
it rouses the spirits of the departed to greet you—
    all those who were leaders in the world;
it makes them rise from their thrones—
    all those who were kings over the nations.

MY COMMENT: This could make a good prophecy of spiritual resurrections of the dead as opposed to bodily. Who is this man that the whole underworld rushes to meet him in the afterlife? This was no ordinary king of Babylon. None of the kings were that significant.

10 They will all respond,
    they will say to you,
“You also have become weak, as we are;
    you have become like us.”
11 All your pomp has been brought down to the grave,
    along with the noise of your harps;
maggots are spread out beneath you
    and worms cover you.

MY COMMENT: He is a rotting corpse.

12 How you have fallen from heaven,
    morning star, son of the dawn!
You have been cast down to the earth,
    you who once laid low the nations!

MY COMMENT: Jesus claimed to come from Heaven to earth.

13 You said in your heart,
    “I will ascend to the heavens;

MY COMMENT: He said that according to the gospels.

I will raise my throne
    above the stars of God;
I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly,
    on the utmost heights of Mount Zaphon.
14 I will ascend above the tops of the clouds;
    I will make myself like the Most High.”

MY COMMENT: Jesus more than anybody else claimed to be equal to God. The king of Babylon never wanted to be enthroned in the Temple as spiritual king of God's people. Jesus did claim this throne and said he would come enthroned and in glory one day. He is on record as saying he would come on the clouds of Heaven enthroned. No Babylonian king wanted to be enthroned on Mount Zion. Jesus did.

15 But you are brought down to the realm of the dead,
    to the depths of the pit.

MY COMMENT: He dies.

16 Those who see you stare at you,
    they ponder your fate:
“Is this the man who shook the earth
    and made kingdoms tremble,
17 the man who made the world a wilderness,
    who overthrew its cities
    and would not let his captives go home?”

MY COMMENT: Jesus was seen degraded on the cross. The text is not talking about an ordinary royal death. Many monarchs came to degraded ends but there is something unique and different about the death envisaged in this prophecy. Jesus did claim to be the biggest royal force in the Universe next to God.

18 All the kings of the nations lie in state,
    each in his own tomb.
19 But you are cast out of your tomb
    like a rejected branch;
you are covered with the slain,
    with those pierced by the sword,
    those who descend to the stones of the pit.

MY COMMENT: Jesus was allegedly taken from his tomb and cast out of the tomb can mean thrown out or did the earthquake at the time of Jesus entombment swallow up the body?.

Like a corpse trampled underfoot,
20     you will not join them in burial,
for you have destroyed your land
    and killed your people.

MY COMMENT: The missing body of Jesus was never recovered. This text implies that it will be dumped somewhere. The gospels never actually state that the reason the tomb of Jesus was empty was because it was resurrected. He could have been stolen and still resurrected.

Let the offspring of the wicked
    never be mentioned again.
21 Prepare a place to slaughter his children
    for the sins of their ancestors;
they are not to rise to inherit the land
    and cover the earth with their cities.
22 “I will rise up against them,”
    declares the Lord Almighty.
“I will wipe out Babylon’s name and survivors,
    her offspring and descendants,”
declares the Lord.
23 “I will turn her into a place for owls
    and into swampland;
I will sweep her with the broom of destruction,”
    declares the Lord Almighty.

COMMENT: Babylon is still famous and its name and survivors and children are remembered. That is why some say Babylon here stands for something other than the real Babylon. The verse demands the murder of Lucifer's followers.

24 The Lord Almighty has sworn,
“Surely, as I have planned, so it will be,
    and as I have purposed, so it will happen.
25 I will crush the Assyrian in my land;
    on my mountains I will trample him down.
His yoke will be taken from my people,
    and his burden removed from their shoulders.”
26 This is the plan determined for the whole world;
    this is the hand stretched out over all nations.
27 For the Lord Almighty has purposed, and who can thwart him?
    His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back?

MY COMMENT: None of that happened which is why some take Babylon to be a metaphor for Christianity.

12 “Son of man, take up a lament concerning the king of Tyre and say to him: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says:
“‘You were the seal of perfection,
    full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.
13 You were in Eden,
    the garden of God;
every precious stone adorned you:
    carnelian, chrysolite and emerald,
    topaz, onyx and jasper,
    lapis lazuli, turquoise and beryl.
Your settings and mountings were made of gold;
    on the day you were created they were prepared.
14 You were anointed as a guardian cherub,
    for so I ordained you.
You were on the holy mount of God;
    you walked among the fiery stones.
15 You were blameless in your ways
    from the day you were created
    till wickedness was found in you.
16 Through your widespread trade
    you were filled with violence,
    and you sinned.
So I drove you in disgrace from the mount of God,
    and I expelled you, guardian cherub,
    from among the fiery stones.
17 Your heart became proud
    on account of your beauty,
and you corrupted your wisdom
    because of your splendor.
So I threw you to the earth;
    I made a spectacle of you before kings.
18 By your many sins and dishonest trade
    you have desecrated your sanctuaries.
So I made a fire come out from you,
    and it consumed you,
and I reduced you to ashes on the ground
    in the sight of all who were watching.
19 All the nations who knew you
    are appalled at you;
you have come to a horrible end
    and will be no more.’”

MY COMMENT: The prophecy fits Jesus who supposedly lived before he was born better than the king of Tyre. The text speaks of this entity having glory in the past. The destruction by fire has not happened yet.
 
We read that there are Bible prophecies that seem to predict a man trying to make himself as good as God and boasting that he will ascend into Heaven but who ends up dying a bad death and is spewed out of his tomb. The man was guilty of slaying good people – there is indeed evidence that Jesus was a murderer by his teaching. For example, he said the Jewish Law was from God and thereby condoned the murders of homosexuals and apostates and adulterers that it demanded in the name of God. Also, there is no reason to deny that Jesus may have engaged in such murders. The Church itself says that when he was on earth he subjected himself to the Jewish Law. His fights with the Pharisees were about how they were not as devoted to the Jewish Law as they pretended to be.

It is imagined that Isaiah 14:12-19 speaks of the fall of Lucifer – the angel who became Satan. The Lucifer here is often taken to refer to the king of Babylon. The text calls him a man not an angel. It says he will die and not be buried for long for he destroyed his land.

Some Christians argue that it refers to the Devil because it says he felt he could put his throne above the stars of God and become like God and because he made the whole world a waste. They argue that this proves he was not a literal man but an angel - a fallen angel such as what Satan was. That is not logical because the man could have angelic powers so problem solved! And many believe that the text refers both to Satan and the real king - it is poetry so it blends the two characters.

The whole world refers to the whole known world. Rome was said to have ruled the world though literally it did not. It is a mistake to take whole world literally. And Jesus we must remember ultimately caused more death and destruction than any king ever did and his bloody legacy is still with us today. Only Jesus could make the world a waste because today some of his followers wish to see the world destroyed in nuclear war. They believe God wants the world to perish in fire some day.

The king believed he would be a god after his death and become the highest god and be a star in Heaven, the biggest and brightest star. Lots of pagan kings did the same.

The Lucifer myth was borrowed from Canaanite mythology. The Canaanites thought the morning star was the god Attar. Attar schemed to take the throne of Baal and failed. So he fled to the underworld to rule it as king. Attar imagined himself to be a higher god when he wasn't and that was the mistake that led to his downfall. He didn't think the other gods were a match for him.
 
Jesus fits the Lucifer prophecy in Isaiah 14 even down to making the earth shake - there was an earthquake during his alleged resurrection - and impressing the whole world. Lucifer means Morning Star which is the title Jesus takes to himself in Revelation 22:16. Yes he must have been Lucifer all right if he wrote that silly and useless Revelation - remember Christianity says he is the ultimate author of the Bible. The Hebrew original of the Isaiah text reads "heleyl, ben shachar". This means literally shining son of the dawn. This term also means the planet Venus. This planet has always been known as he morning star. The Septuagint translates it into Greek as heosphoros which refers to Venus.
 
Second Peter 1:19 speaks of Lucifer in the Greek original. It uses the term "phos-phoros". That is light bearer. Revelation 22:16 uses the same term for Jesus himself.
 
The lesson is that if you want to declare somebody your saviour then Jesus is not that person! No far from it!
