HOW DARE YOU ASSESS FOR YOURSELF THAT GOD EXISTS AND THEN BY YOUR OWN AUTHORITY SAY HE IS RIGHT TO ALLOW BABIES TO DIE IN AGONY!

When something terrible happens, usually to an innocent animal or somebody else, people say everything happens for a reason for God makes all and thus has a purpose for all.

What if the person is saying this to cover up something?  It is strange to look at horrendous situations and try to water down their horror.  It is strange to see no good or reason in it and still say its got its place in the universe under God.  What is going on?  The idea that something bigger is there can be seen as a distraction then from the horror of the situation.  You just divert attention to make yourself feel better and to feel safer so that you think the horror you see is not as bad as it looks.  Diverting or rationalising both refuse to give proper empathy to others.

Another grave harm is that if the higher power that drives us to get through the most hopeless cases, is just some chemistry in us then the God idea is harmful for it is looking for help in the wrong place.  The help is in us.  It is us.

God supposedly reveals his existence in the things he has created and by informing his messengers, his prophets, that he is there.  People have to reason to see if a revelation could be from God. So even if God gave it is not the point. It still comes back to human assessment. And human nature would pretend that its deliberations are from God. So faith in what men and prophets say is what this is all about. How dare you think faith in men gives you the right to comment on other people’s suffering fitting God?

If it is logically possible for God to reveal that is no good to us and does not tell us what we need to know, “Where is the real revelation from God to be found?” It tells us to search and to be ready to accept that maybe there is no revelation.

Christianity has a clarion call to “Love the Lord”. That means love the one you are to give unconditional obedience to and love his lordship. It implies that to love him you must obey him.

This is evil for if God is untrue then it is evil to waste devotion on him and the reason he is untrue is because he would be evil so that is bad as well.
