Alleged supernatural instances are maintained by religion even after they are exposed

Despite claiming to be servants of truth, and saying that injustice will always follow lies and errors, it is a fact that religions will not abandon miracle claims when they are exposed or at least shown to be doubtful.  Mormons and Catholics are infamous for that intransigence and they stand out more than others.
